Another one of the Dahlias we’ve grown for the first time this year and again certain to grow again. Not only are they lovely big flowers but also they seem to be pretty prolific.
Anyone who used to follow me in the days of The London Daily Nature Photo ( http://www.nichamilton.com/ldnp/index.php?x=browse ) will, I’m sure, remember my love of dragonflies. thus it’s nice to see an old love with a new one as a Southern Hawker sits on a Sugar Diamond here.
We like to have something in the centre of our display at Farmer’s Markets and lately sunflowers in this vase seem to have been the order of the day. A stallholder who sells cards remarked that they’d make a good greetings card. We’re not quite at that yet but when we got them home I did a quick shot against an old door. So there you have it.
